Nicole, La La and I at Artica, the center camp ice booth. This my first year working ice and it was a blast. The ice organization is great, really good group to volunteer with, and the actual "work" is entertaining. You meet lots of people, hook 'em up with some ice, and generally have a lot of fun. I had a little too much fun this day, and accidently beaned La La with a hula-hoop. No, I was not drinking, I'm guess I'm just not as good with a hoop as I thought I was, which is why she's holding ice to her head. (OMG I'm so sorry!). Spitfye, who took this photo, started calling me Deadly Dave after this incident.
