This was my third year, and I was there for about nine days - I had early admission for Sunday, and then I stayed an extra
day, leaving the Tuesday after the event ended. I had a blast this year and for a variety of reasons I ended up not
taking that many pictures this year. This year was also the first year I brought an art project - I made a Flying Saucer surrey,
and the building of that was an adventure in itself which I've blogged
here. Anyway, tending to the
saucer kept me pretty busy. It was
really dusty this year, so I only ended up busting out the SLR a couple times, and I just was generally busy doing
other things. So, for what it's worth, here are my photos. About 1/3 of these were taken
with a Canon Rebel (my dent-n-scratch SLR), and the rest were shot with my little Sony point-n-shoot.
The photo album appears below, click on the first pic to work your way through. I also have two videos:
-
Anubis: a video of a ride on Anubis, a mutant vehicle that was camped across the street from us
-
My flying saucer video
which follows the building of my flying saucer from prototype to playa.
